Tacos La Güera

Got two shrimp tacos to go. Lady at the counter was very friendly. Told me there would be a wait, since they were filling an order for 70 tacos. Paid the bill and waited for under ten minutes. Please see the picture. This is two shrimp tacos! The flavors burst through! Fresh pico, cilantro, onion! And the shrimp were perfectly cooked. Worth getting off the freeway! Yes, I know it is in a gas station. Yes, there is no sign outside. (They need one). So delicious!! And friendly to boot!!

The food was great! Tacos to go and they’re good. Great service and they got the food out fast. Red, green, and orange kind of hot sauces were all great. This place is located in a mobile gas station. There is a Dunkin’ and a liquor store connected in the same building. A real one stop shop.

Best fish tacos !! Biggest burritos ever and soooo yummy! Order is always perfect and staff always friendly!! My family has never not liked what they order.

These tacos slapped harder than my Monday morning alarm and made me question every life choice that didn’t involve eating here sooner. The staff? So friendly they basically adopted me on the spot. I will definitely be back soon!! Thank you

Arrived at the “ gas station “ and wasn’t sure if this place was still here because there are no signs for this restaurant. We walked in and found it. The inside was clean and they had a small sitting area for us to enjoy our tacos. We ordered the shrimp, pork, and chicken tacos. All of the tacos were excellent with the shrimp being the best so full of flavor. The marinated pork and chicken tacos were great too. I love all the different sauces they have also. Definitely a “hidden” gem.

I need to start off by saying thank you to Fallon and Pablo! They are amazing! Even if the food was not great I would still give them 5 stars! But thank goodness the food was delicious! We were looking for a place to serve food for my mother’s funeral luncheon. We are coming from out of town so I googled best restaurants in Delavan and Tacos La Guerra popped up with 5 stars! I was so excited to see an authentic Mexican place! Living in Texas you get a little picky with so many options and let me tell you they did not disappoint! They went above and beyond from the phone call to place a large order for over 100 people to the day of the service! They offered to deliver our food to the church so that we could have a smooth transition from the service to the luncheon. I can’t thank them enough. My husband and I are so grateful we found them! I had to trust that they would be great because I couldn’t go visit ahead of time but they reassured me that everything would go smoothly. They made sure we had enough food and it was delivered on time and absolutely delicious! We will definitely eat there again whenever we are back in town! The food was so good that we had people asking to take to go plates! I actually bought an extra bag to take on the airplane so I could take all my leftovers home to Texas! Life long customers! We were driving through town and needed a quick stop for lunch. Boy what a hidden gem! Food was awesome. Service was great. Really happy we found this place, I will be back!
